Accounting Advisory

Unlock Fluidly for your whole practice by adding colleagues and more

No accountant is an island. From trainees to partners and everybody in between, every practice has different people doing different jobs, with each person interacting with clients and colleagues in a range of different ways.

Maybe you’re responsible for a small handful of clients, with nobody reporting to you. Or perhaps you’re on the hook for a lot more: a large team, an entire practice area and hundreds of businesses of all shapes and sizes. Either way, when it comes to the accounting software you use, it’s vital that the right staff have access to the right information.

With our latest update, we’re helping your team get even closer to clients – by allowing you to invite colleagues to your practice’s account and assign them different user roles.

These new features make Fluidly easier, so you can stay on top of clients’ cashflow and start conversations more seamlessly than ever before. Read on to learn more or log in now to take a look right away.

What can I do with these new features?

By inviting colleagues to Fluidly you can use our tools more efficiently across your team. As more colleagues access your practice’s account, you can allocate clients to the people who look after them, rather than everyone seeing the same full list of businesses.

Getting your Fluidly organised like this means you can make the most of Fluidly’s insights. When Fluidly knows which clients each client manager looks after, everybody in your team can provide more pinpointed advice.

It also simply makes Fluidly quicker and simpler to use, as you can get what you need immediately, by viewing only your clients. Finally, these new features give your practice enhanced privacy too, by allowing you to restrict access to certain clients.

How do these features work in practice?

Let’s say you have a new starter, who has just been given their clients and needs access to them in Fluidly. All you need to do is log in and visit your practice’s Portfolio page, where you can see your firm’s clients. Just click the right-hand dropdown, choose “Manage staff”, then invite this new joiner and get them set up with the right businesses.

It takes a matter of seconds to invite a colleague and assign them the clients they’re responsible for. So it’s easy – but if you do need any help, we’ve outlined step-by-step instructions to inviting staff and assigning clients on our Support Centre.

How else do these features help my firm?

One of Fluidly’s most powerful tools is the conversation starters it uncovers, which are like a ready-made list of clients who may need help. For instance, our tools might identify a client with a lot of overdue debt, who could benefit from a chat around credit control or invoice finance.

Each time you invite somebody to Fluidly and allocate their clients you make these insights easier to access across your team. As a result, each adviser can get closer to the businesses they look after, which can help your practice provide even more proactive support and grow its advisory offering.

What should I do next?

If you want to see our staff and client management features in action, check out this quick video or log in here to try them for yourself.

And if there weren’t already enough reasons to give it a go, we’re giving away our much-loved Fluidly notebooks for free when you invite a colleague. All you need to do is invite somebody and when they log in, we’ll pop a notebook in the post straight to your door.
